Patron Campaign 2023-2024

Dear Supporter of ACC and the Arts,

Greetings from Abington Choral Club as we approach the Fall and Winter seasons in high spirits!  It has been a busy and productive year.  We would like to catch you up on what we have accomplished:

  • ACC membership is now over 80 singers, up from our core group of 60+ last year.  We have continued to add new voices as well as welcome back former members who had been away through the Pandemic.
  • Our Spring Concert provided us with a special opportunity to perform with local baritone Keith Spencer, singing favorite spirituals and Broadway tunes.
  • A large group of singers, family and friends attended a Trenton Thunder game in June, with ACC performing on the field, opening the game with our national anthem, and singing God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch.
  • Our traditional Holiday and Spring concert performances at Rydal Park returned.
  • We continued to fund an annual scholarship, awarded this past May to Abington senior, River Hoffman.

And, very importantly, we have exciting concerts planned for this year.  Please mark these three dates on your calendars and join our audience!

  • Saturday, December 2nd, 7:30 p.m., Abington Senior High School
Our Holiday Concert featuring Vivaldi’s Gloria and a mix of holiday music with accompaniment by Independence Sinfonia orchestra musicians
  • Sunday, March 3rd, 3:00 p.m., Temple University Ambler Campus
ACC will sing several selections at Independence Sinfonia’s concert
  • Saturday, April 20th, 7:30 p.m., Abington Senior High School for our spring concert

We wish to thank you immensely for your support.  We could not have made it this far without you.  Please consider a tax-deductible donation to ACC again this year; any amount (see enclosed form with donor categories) is so welcome.  There are two ways to donate:

All patron donations received by November 15th will be recognized in our December concert program.  Watch our website for announcements about our future performances!

With gratitude for your consideration,

Alan Wendell, President
