Auditions to join ACC are usually held during the first two rehearsals of each concert season (September and January).
It’s simple to audition for ACC. Just email the Music Committee chairperson with your contact information and voice part. You will receive a follow-up e-mail with more detailed information about ACC and to answer any questions you may have, along with a link to complete our audition form.
On the evening of your audition, you will be asked to sit in on the rehearsal with the choir and then meet briefly with the Music Committee afterward. Please come prepared to sing a short vocal audition piece and some scales. The entire audition process is designed to be non-threatening; we just need to hear you sing and get a sense for how you might fit within the group.
